Mission

People For Haiti is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to providing long-term support for the people devastated by the Haitian earthquake of 2010. Made up of volunteers, we are a group of concerned citizens who donate their time, expertise and money to getting aid on the ground, to directly impact the people of Haiti. We are made up of doctors, lawyers, journalists, homemakers, economists, contractors, students and artists who have joined to dedicate their talent and energy to helping people in Haiti rise again and prosper.

Thanks East Lake Woodland Country Club golfers

Just want to share with you all... I was sitting here in my house and got a call from my neighbors - George and Arlette.
George was able to collect $425 dollars with his golfer friends from East Lake Woodland Country Club..... OH MY GOD!!!!

Blog, Donation, packing....

Hello everyone,

Today it has been a long and productive day!!

Due to the high number of emails we've been getting today, we found a way to make it easier for people to donate money to People for Haiti... we were able to ad a "donate buttom" in our blog, and it takes you to PayPal, and people can make donation by credit card, checks, etc... and they don't need to have a PayPal account... this will make easier for everyone!

Leo and I also finished packing his 2 bags... actually almost... we still need to go get the medicine we order with Target Pharmacy tomorrow....but 50lbl is nothing!!! We are leaving a lot of medical equipment here for the next trip... hopefully soon!

Slowly we are learning more and more about out our blog... we were also able to make a People for Haiti Facebook page... so make sure you become a fan!

Now, I will keep you update on the news from Leo from Haiti...

Today we had a great time packing for the trip!

Not only we had a lot of supplies donated by North Bay Hospital, we also had the pleasure to get about 100 cards from the Trinity Elementary School Kids.... each one more special than the other!! Thanks everyone!
