Today it was a busy day! Started with the reporter from BayNews calling us early in the morning... meeting with them (make sure to watch tomorrow between 6 and 9am), after that, meeting with a reporter from Trinity Newsletter (thanks Anne).... and of course, Leo was trying to continue to see his patients in between all that!
In the afternoon I went to Target Pharmacy to get the medicine that we order - thanks so so much Target Pharmacy for helping us getting the meds for a great price!! We really appreciated!
I also met with a lady, name Julie... she donated a LOT of medical equipment... Julie, Thanks!
At the end of the day, Leo got a call from Dr. White from SC, saying they were able to send their bags on a plane that left today to Haiti, therefore, Leo could take a total of 4 bags... yeah!! What a great news!!! More meds able to go!!!
Another change on the travel arrangements.... he got a call from a pilot offering to fly him from St Pet to Ft Lauderdale - having to pay only the fuel costs (which by the way, will be pay by the Nagy Family - thanks!!)... so happy Leo won't have to drive 4 hrs to Ft Lauderdale, - specially after not having too much of sleep this past few nights!
So here is the plan... tomorrow at 6am I will drive Leo to St Pet airport. From there, he will fly to Ft Lauderdale where he will meet with the rest of the team. They will fly the private jet to DR and get another plane to Haiti.... so please, keep all of them in your prayers!!
