Mission

People For Haiti is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to providing long-term support for the people devastated by the Haitian earthquake of 2010. Made up of volunteers, we are a group of concerned citizens who donate their time, expertise and money to getting aid on the ground, to directly impact the people of Haiti. We are made up of doctors, lawyers, journalists, homemakers, economists, contractors, students and artists who have joined to dedicate their talent and energy to helping people in Haiti rise again and prosper.

5:48 Tents/Dr. Ferreira

Hello everyone... tents are on the way to meet with the pilot/plane in Atlanta... Dr. White's wife, Karin, is taking the tents from SC to Atlanta - 2 1/2 hours driving... (thanks so much Karin)... the good news is that the tents will make to Haiti on Sunday... and 20 families will be very happy... thanks to all of you guys that donated money (and continue to do) and all the help from the managers from Dick's Sporting Good... thanks so much!

Another good news... Dr. Robert Ferreira (one of Leo's partners) is leaving to Haiti on Monday... he is joining another group of doctors and will be there for 6 days.... AGAIN, Target Pharmacy was AWESOME, and we were able to get medicines for him to take with him for a great price... and AGAIN, with the funds People For Haiti continue to get from all of you, more medicine will get to the Haiti people....

This is why I always say: together we can make a difference!! Help Us, Help Them!
As soon as i get pictures or news from Leo about today, I will post it okay?
